How Do You Want to Feel on Monday?
When the weekend rolls around, it’s easy to just react.
We either try to catch up on everything we didn’t get done during the week… or we crash and try to recover from it all.
But what if you paused and asked yourself a simple question:
“How do I actually want to feel on Monday?”
Energized? Rested? Clear-headed? Strong?
There’s no wrong answer. But knowing what you’re aiming for can help guide what you choose to do (or not do) this weekend.
Movement, Rest, or Something in Between?
For some, that might mean getting a workout in that leaves you feeling accomplished and energized.
For others, it might be a walk outside, a light stretch, or a few quiet minutes of breath work to downshift your nervous system.
Maybe it’s simply not overbooking yourself.
Maybe it’s giving yourself space to move, rest, or reset without guilt.
Reverse Engineer Your Weekend
If you want to feel strong on Monday, ask:
“What’s one thing I can do this weekend to support that?”
If you want to feel calm on Monday, ask:
“What can I say no to so I have time to decompress?”
It doesn’t have to be complicated or perfect. Just intentional.
Hope you find space this weekend to move or rest in a way that helps you feel good stepping into the week ahead.
